The agreement between you and us when you use Alba AI.
Last updated: 10 August 2026
Alba AI is provided by PSA Studio (operated by Paul Smith, a sole trader based in Ayrshire, Scotland). By using Alba AI you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Alba AI is a public research assistant. We improve it continually, so features may change over time. If we plan to remove something you rely on, we will tell you first.
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for what happens under your account. Please keep your details accurate, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
Please do not use Alba AI to break the law, to store other people’s data without a proper reason, or to attempt to disrupt the service for anyone else.
Whatever you put into Alba AI remains yours. We do not claim ownership of it, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models. You can ask for an export at any time.
We work hard to keep Alba AI available and correct, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable or never contain a mistake. It is provided “as is”. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
You can stop using Alba AI whenever you like. We may suspend an account that is being used in a way that breaks these terms, and we will explain why.
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction.
